What We Do
Sign up for our 3 day workshop.
Are you and your managers attracting and hiring the best candidates?
JNTS Consulting aims to coach companies on more effective recruitment methods, as the traditional line of questioning such as “tell me about yourself”, is ineffective. We found that a lot of companies did not know how to write a job description that would entice job seekers to apply for their roles; how to advertise; how to read a resume and how to ask the right questions to determine the most suitable person for the decision. We also found that many companies spent far too much money on recruitment agency fees!
If you are an owner, executive or manager, knowledge about the recruitment process now will give you more control and more importantly, save you time and money in the long run. Find out about our personalised workshops now.
Why is it so important to get interviewing right?
It is so important because ultimately you, the employer, wants to ensure that the right person is being hired for the role; and that any questions or concerns are addressed before an offer is made and a contract is signed. When the wrong hiring decision is made, time and money is spent on training that new team member; and resources allocated to them to perform their duties. If the wrong person is hired, you are back to square one.
The other advantage to ensuring you and your management team conduct good interviews as it builds confidence and integrity in the process, provides structure, gives candidates a professional image of the business; reduces interviewer bias; and reduces a candidates ability to fudge their answers during the interview.
What is Behavioural Based Interviewing?
Behavioural Based Interviewing is designed to predict an individual’s future performance based on their previous actions. Employers such as Accenture, Ernst & Young, Kellogg, Unilever, Oracle, Boral and Coca Cola have been using behavioural based interviewing for many years now, with much success. It has said that behavioural based interviewing provides 45% more predictive assessment of future on the job behavior, over traditional interview techniques such as “tell me about yourself”.
